"Quantum Cowboys" is a refreshingly original and inspired film, blending the rugged backdrop of 1870s Southern Arizona with complex quantum time theory and deep philosophical musings about art, history, and memory. Follow the hapless drifters Frank and Bruno as they team up with Linde to reclaim her land and find a mysterious frontier musician. With its unique mix of gunfights, dance halls, and cacti, this movie stands out, although it may leave some viewers puzzled and feeling as though it was birthed by a group of imaginative hippies. Nonetheless, it’s a film that captivates with its ingenuity.
