"Fly Me to the Moon," starring Scarlett Johansson and Channing Tatum, promises a sharp, stylish romantic comedy set against the high-stakes Apollo 11 moon landing. However, under Greg Berlanti’s direction, the film struggles to find its footing. Despite the enticing premise and the undeniable charm of its A-list leads, the movie is tonally inconsistent and feels overly long. The chemistry between Johansson and Tatum can't quite save the film from its muddled execution. Unfortunately, the potential for a sparkling, high-flying romance fizzles out, leaving audiences with a forgettable and ultimately underwhelming cinematic experience.

Houston, we have a problem. "Fly Me to the Moon" promises a sharp, stylish romantic comedy with high stakes set against NASA's historic Apollo 11 moon landing. Starring Scarlett Johansson as the chaotic marketing maven Kelly Jones and Channing Tatum as the overwhelmed launch director Cole Davis, the film aims high but lands far from its target. While sparks fly between the charismatic leads, the film's confused narrative and mismatched tones raise questions. Who is this mishmash for? What is it for? The countdown to disappointment begins as the plot fails to launch.
